We meet at 19:30 at Doodle's: Tamedia Medienhaus, Ernst-Nobs-Platz, Plenum A/B/C.

We'll have a close look at Vert.x, an event-driven application framework for the JVM that lets you write applications in Ruby, Java, Groovy, Javascript and Python. Vert.x understands concurrency and it can fully utilize your multicore servers CPUs.
Alvaro's going to demo Vert.x and show when/why/how it can be the choice to power your next web application.
