Meeting Info

The format is a semi-formal start, for about an hour or so, where someone gives a talk about something web-related, then head to the bar.

Attending is free so you get what you pay for.

Meetings are held once a month, on the second Tuesday of the month.

Language?

Although content of this wiki is English, meetings tend to be conducted in German / Swiss German - depends on who's talking.

Who?

Meetings are open to anyone although typically you're a nerd. The tendancy so far has been leaning towards the experienced - talks tend to be sharing insight of developers working on sites like search.ch and local.ch.

To give you a feel, techies from the following companies (in no particular order) are often seen at webtuesday;

Speaking?

If you wish to talk about something, please contact the organisers

If there's something you're particularily interested in hearing about, post your requests here and, with luck, someone will pick it up (in practice, this hasn't happened so far - speakers are picking topics based on their own experience / interests).

Where?

Meeting points will be announced on the wiki and the location will change each month.

webtuesday relies on the generosity of a number Swiss companies to provide us a meeting room.

If you can help us out with providing space to meet, please let one of the organisers know.

Updates?

Via RSS, subscribe to this RSS feed - just updates about meetings, not the entire wiki.

Alternatively, register for an account then click on this link to get updates via email (click on the link will register you - be warned).

A third route is the mailing list, which is a low volume and "read only" - only used for webtuesday announcements.
